** New Guidelines for ordering a Custom Made Bra **

For many women, finding a bra that fits perfectly could only be a dream comes true.  For the last 9 years, Snares of Venus has been offering custom made bras over the internet to hundreds of women worldwide. 

 When custom making a bra; there are many conventional and un-conventional methods of developing your pattern.  Often, we need to make samples, sometimes we need to change or add different materials for extra support and sometimes we just need to see what the bras looks like when you have it on before we proceed to the finished product.  

Whatever the reason, we believe that it is important for our customers to be involved in every step of custom making their items no matter how many miles they live from our main office. 

Beginning in 2007, to order a custom made bra from Snares of Venus, all new customers will go through a pattern origination process which is designed to give each customer the most perfect pattern possible.  Our New Pattern origination process will also give each customer a change to change or add items to their bras before the final product is made.

 If you already have a pattern on file with us, you can continue to order your bras without going through our pattern origination process, however it you opt to have a new pattern made, (i.e changing a beguile pattern to a desire pattern) you will need to go through our new process.

 Snares of Venus Original Pattern Origination Process 

1. Submit your measurements to Snares of Venus
2. Choose a bra pattern (Garden Collection, The Treasure Chest,  Après Noir) (If you need help, a representative will contact you)
3. Submit your order. Submit your order on-line!  We accept: VISA, MASTERCARD, and PERSONAL CHECKS.  If you would like to use your AMEX or DISCOVER, please place your order by telephone.
4. Within 3 – 6 Weeks a sample bra will be mailed out to you. Your package will also include:
   1. Pre-paid return envelope.
   2. Digital camera (If you don’t already have one).
   3. Bra fitting questionnaire.
5. Once you receive your sample bra, please fill out our bra fitting questionnaire.  You can also give us a call or send us an e-mail to let us know how the bra is fitting.  You are also encouraged to use the digital camera to take pictures of yourself in the bra from the front, the side and the back. (You do not need to include your face; we just want to see what the bra looks like when you have in on). 
6. You can then use the convenient pre-paid envelope to send the sample bra back to us along with the digital camera and questionnaire for us to make the necessary changes to your master pattern.
7. If more than a few alterations are necessary, a 2^nd sample bra will be made and shipped out to you using the same guidelines as the first sample bra.
8. After your sample bra package(s) is returned, any alteration necessary will be made to your master pattern and the construction of your final bra will begin. 
9. Once your final bra is completed, it will be mailed out to you. 
10. We recommend that you start with only one pattern for your initial order.  After we have a pattern on file for you that is perfect, you can continue to order more of the same pattern without the pattern origination costs

Construction Time

From the moment your order is placed, please allow 3 – 6 weeks for your first sample bra to be mailed out to you.

Once we receive your sample bra back in the mail, please allow another 2 -3 weeks for a 2^nd sample bra to be mailed out to you if necessary.

Once we receive your sample bras back in the mail, it usually takes us about  another 3 – 4 weeks to finish your final bra.

 If you only need one sample bra mailed out to you the total time from initial order to final shipping should be around 8 – 12 weeks.  Please note this time also depends on how quickly we receive your sample bra back in the mail.

 If you need two sample bras mailed out to you, the total time from initial order to final shipping should be around 12 – 14 weeks. Please note this time also depends on how quickly we receive your sample bras back in the mail.

If you live in Canada, please allow an extra week for delivery of samples and final products because it does take longer to ship to Canada.

If you live in any country outside the US or Canada, please allow an extra 2 weeks for delivery of samples and final products because it does take longer to ship internationally.

Costs

The pattern origination fees include your master pattern, sample bras and alterations.  Costs for each individual bra and shipping are separate from the pattern origination fees.

i.e, Pattern Origination $375.00
     Bra Pattern (Midnight Desire): $140.00
     Shipping: $14.50

The total cost for your original order will be $529.50

When ordering a bra for the first time on our website, you will be billed for the total price of your pattern origination fee, your chosen bra (i.e The Midnight Desire), and for shipping. 

Upon completion of your pattern which is usually within the first 2 weeks or your order, we will only charge your credit card for the pattern origination fee and your shipping fee (Usually about $389.50).  This fee is used to pay for the cost of your pattern making and your sample bras.  This fee is non refundable.  We will charge your credit card for the remaining balance on your account once your final bra has been mailed out to you.

Customer paying with Pay Pal are charged immediately after an order is placed. 

Once your pattern is on file, you will not need to pay the pattern origination fees.
